Our Story
Following my father’s death several years ago, I found myself navigating the process of arranging his funeral. During this time, I realised that the design and shape of coffins had remained largely unchanged for many years. I struggled to find something that felt truly appropriate for him, which inspired me to create an alternative.
With my design vision and Tim’s expertise in business and logistics, we worked together to redesign the traditional coffin. Our aim was to create something simple and refined, meeting the practical requirements of the funeral industry while offering a more contemporary aesthetic and a mindful approach to environmental impact.
Crafted from solid timber and distinguished by gentle curves at either end, Swansong Contemporary Coffins offer a new, considered alternative.
